General terms and conditions of business

1. Scope of Application:

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services, offers, and contractual agreements made through this website, in particular to: the booking of courses and events, the purchase of digital or physical services, the use of the website and its functions. The GTC apply to customers from Switzerland (CH) as well as from the European Union (EU).

2. Provider / Contracting Party:

Provider:

Christoph Schmid

Friedhofweg 8 CH-4125 Riehen

info@paxanimi.ch

Unless otherwise stated, the provider acts as a private individual.

3. Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of courses and services on the website does not constitute a legally binding offer but a non-binding invitation to submit an offer. The contract is concluded once: • the booking process via the booking system (Wix) has been completed, and • a booking confirmation has been sent by email.

4. Services

The provider offers, in particular, sound meditations, flute courses, and music- and sound-related events. The offerings serve relaxation, self-exploration, musical education, and personal development. They do not constitute medical, psychotherapeutic, or healing treatments and do not replace medical or therapeutic advice. Content, scope, duration, and execution of the courses are defined in the respective course description on the website. The provider reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the content for factual reasons, provided the overall character of the service remains unchanged.

5. Prices

All prices are listed on the website. Unless otherwise noted: prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) or the currency indicated, • prices do not include VAT (private individual / small business status, if applicable).

5. Payment Terms

Payment is made via the payment methods offered on the website (e.g., Wix Payments, credit card, other third-party providers) or in cash on-site. Payment is due immediately upon completion of the booking or by agreement on-site. The provider does not gain access to full payment or credit card data.

6. Course Execution & Changes

The provider reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses for important reasons, particularly in cases of: • illness, • force majeure, • unforeseen events. Payments already made will be refunded or – upon agreement – credited toward a replacement date. Further claims are excluded.

7. Cancellation & Withdrawal by Participants

A cancellation is only possible under the conditions stated on the website or in the course description. Unless otherwise specified: • In case of no-show or short-term cancellation, there is no entitlement to a refund.

8. Right of Withdrawal (EU)

For customers from the EU: There is no statutory right of withdrawal if: • the course takes place on a fixed date, or • the service has already begun. Otherwise, the statutory provisions apply.

9. Liability

Participation in sound meditations and flute courses is at one’s own risk. The provider assumes no liability for health-related, physical, or psychological impairments unless caused by intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the provider. The offerings require normal mental and physical resilience. Participants are obliged to inform the provider of relevant health limitations before the course begins. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. The provider is not liable for: • technical disruptions of the website, • failures of third-party providers (e.g., Wix, payment services), • indirect or consequential damages.

10. Data Protection The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these GTC.

11. Copyright

All content, documents, and materials provided within the courses are protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is not permitted without explicit consent.

12. Applicable Law & Place of Jurisdiction

Exclusively Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The place of jurisdiction is – to the extent legally permissible – the provider’s place of residence. Mandatory consumer protection regulations for EU consumers remain unaffected.

13. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

14. Changes to the GTC

The provider reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The version valid at the time of booking applies.
